Job Description
STR is hiring a Lead Model-Based Systems Engineer (MBSE) to work across a broad portfolio of DoD mission areas. The ideal candidate will have experience architecting systems, working across the Systems Engineering Lifecycle, and a deep understanding of Systems Engineering principles.
Requirements
- BS, MS or PhD in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field
- Experience implementing open architectures and integrating with large scale software-intensive systems and platform systems
- Strong ability to derive requirements from existing software and capture new customer requirements, and translate those into development tasks for software teams
- Minimum of 8 years work experience as a Systems Engineer or related field
- Minimum of 3 years experience architecting systems using system modeling tools (SysML in Cameo)
