Job Description
STR is a growing technology company developing cutting-edge vulnerability research technologies to contribute to national security. They are seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer to design, develop, and test software applications and tools in C, C++, and Python, while ensuring software quality and integrating with networking/messaging technologies. The role involves working in a multidisciplinary team and tackling complex cyber problems.
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience (or MS and 3+ years)
- Proficiency in C, C++, and Python
- Familiarity with assembly language, operating systems internals
- Familiarity with software scripting and build automation tools (e.g., bash, make)
- Experience with software scripting and build automation tools (e.g., Git, Subversion, Gitlab)
- Applied skills using collaborative source code management and software engineering tools (e.g., Git, Subversion, Gitlab)
- Top Secret (TS) security clearance (US Citizenship required)
- Experience in classified programs (desired)
