Requirements
- Prepare Instrument Datasheets, Instrument Indexes, I/O Lists, and Cable Schedules under supervision
- Assist with sizing calculations for Control Valves, Relief Valves, and Orifice Meters with guidance from senior engineers
- Specify common industry instrumentation such as Pressure, Temperature, Flow, and Level Transmitters and gauges in accordance with project standards
- Review and provide input to P&IDs from an instrumentation and controls perspective with senior engineer oversight
- Work with a senior engineer and design and drafting team to produce instrumentation drawings such as Instrument Wiring Diagrams, Instrument Installation Details, Junction Box and PLC Panel Layout Drawings, and B.O.M
- Review vendor submittals and packages under supervision to verify compliance with project requirements
- Assist with Technical Bid Evaluations when required and appropriate for experience level
- Identify potential out-of-scope activities and coordinate with senior engineers or management prior to proceeding
