Job Description
Stratolaunch is seeking a Staff or Principal-level Environmental Test Engineer to lead the environmental test team for air-launched, hypersonic vehicle programs. The role involves overseeing and contributing to test planning, execution, failure analysis, and validation, particularly within avionics components. This position requires experience with test and environmental standards like DO-160 and MIL-STD-810, and collaboration with regulatory agencies.
Requirements
- Knowledge of electrical engineering, software engineering, avionics, and experimental aircraft integration.
- Understanding and experience with test and environmental standards such as DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-461, SMC-S-16.
- Experience developing test system software.
- Demonstrated ability as a technical leader and people manager.
