Building Engineer

We are seeking a Building Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be committed to keeping building systems and equipment in good order, providing concierge-style service to tenants, and executing preventative maintenance to prolong the useful life of systems and equipment. The role requires a thorough understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building automation systems, as well as the ability to read and understand plans and prints.

Requirements

• Comprehend and interpret instructions and memos
• Operate and use necessary manual and power-driven tools
• Provide concierge-style customer service to internal and external partners
• Perform preventative maintenance and corrective repair of buildings, industrial systems, vehicles, equipment, and grounds
• Align and ensure all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agencies, and company directives related to building operations and work safety are adhered to
• Inspect building systems to ensure operation of equipment is within design capabilities and achieves environmental conditions prescribed by the client
• Perform contract work, including landscaping, snow removal, HVAC, plumbing, and cleaning
