Street Child is seeking an Education Programme Manager to lead on overall programme delivery, budget management, staff and team management, partnership management, inter-agency and local government representation at the field level.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Social Work, Education, International Relations, Project Management, Development Studies, or other relevant field.
- Fluency in English and good working knowledge of French is required.
- Atleast 5 years of solid experience (at the specialist or managerial levels) in emergencies experience in Cameroon.
- Demonstrated experience in successful delivery of large-scale education programmes in humanitarian or development contexts in Cameroon.
- Ability to identify the main gaps in education and child protection services in the given context to inform a holistic response for children.
- Knowledge of established inter-agency standards and guidelines in education and child protection.
- Experience in coordination with local and international NGOs, representation with donors and humanitarian actors.
- Previous experience managing teams, including staff training and capacity building of organizational staff and partner staff.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
