Job Description
High School CTE Teacher position at Virginia Virtual Academy (VAVA), a Stride Company, with a focus on providing individualized and engaging educational experiences for students. The Teacher will be responsible for delivering course content in an online environment and working closely with students and parents/learning coaches to advance each student’s learning toward established goals.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active state teaching license
- Ability to clear required background check
- Experience working with proposed age group
- Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology
- Experience teaching in an online (virtual) and/or in a brick-and-mortar environment
- Experience with online learning platforms
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
