High School English Teacher

High School English Teacher job at Stride K12 partner school, Volunteer State Virtual Academy (VSVA), with remote work option, requiring Tennessee Secondary English Teaching Certification and 40+ hours per week. Passionate educators are needed to deliver rich and engaging learning experiences for students, and to support learning coaches/parents with student curricular and instructional issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Active state teaching license
• Ability to clear required background check
• Ability to work independently and maintain a professional home office
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers
• Experience working with proposed age group
• Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology
• Experience teaching in an online (virtual) and/or in a brick-and-mortar environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
