Job Description
High School Special Education Teacher needed for the Texas Virtual Academy of Hallsville (TVAH) for the 2026/2027 school year. The teacher will provide instruction, support, and guidance to self-contained and ALT students with individualized education programs (IEPs).
Requirements
- Required Certificates and Licenses: Texas Special Education and ESL preferred
- Residency Requirements: Texas
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data, and use it to drive instructional decisions
- Receptive to receiving coaching on a regular basis with administrators
- Ability to travel up to 20% of the time to support in-person student testing, attend professional development or other travel as required by the school
- Ability to clear required background check
