Job Description
We are seeking a passionate Middle School Math Teacher to join our talented team at Virginia Virtual Academy (VAVA). The teacher will deliver high-quality, personalized education to students through online instruction, and provide support and guidance to students and parents. The position requires a Bachelor's degree, active state teaching license, and ability to clear required background check.
Requirements

- Experience working with proposed age group
- Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology
- Experience teaching in an online (virtual) and/or in a brick-and-mortar environment
- Experience with online learning platforms
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers
- Receptive to receiving coaching regularly
- Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint
