Middle School Science Teacher

This is a full-time virtual Middle School Science Teacher position at the Stride K12 partner school, North Carolina Virtual Academy (NCVA). The successful candidate will deliver specific course content in an online environment, providing instruction, support, and guidance to students, and working closely with parents/learning coaches to advance each student’s learning toward established goals.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree
• Active state teaching license
• Ability to clear required background check
• Experience working with proposed age group (desired)
• Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology (desired)
• Experience teaching in an online (virtual) and/or in a brick-and-mortar environment (desired)
• Experience with online learning platforms (desired)
• Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers (desired)
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint (desired)
