Job Description
We're looking for a Solution Architect to guide the technical direction of key product platforms across K12. You'll partner with engineering, product, and business stakeholders to design secure, scalable, maintainable solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of software engineering experience, including influence over multi-system architecture
- 3+ years building solutions on AWS
- Hands-on experience with multiple coding languages, UI frameworks and Database technologies
- Familiarity with modern web technologies and open-source frameworks
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex trade-offs
- Experience with large-scale, high-availability systems
- Strong communication skills and the ability to lead through influence
- Understanding of application, integration, SOA, and distributed architecture patterns
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
- Background check clearance and up to 5% travel
