Job Description
K12, a Stride Company, is seeking a Special Education Teacher for the Indiana Gateway Digital Academy. The position is a full-time remote job, responsible for delivering specific course content in an online environment. The teacher must provide instruction, support, and guidance to students with special needs, and work collaboratively with parents and related service staff to ensure students receive the appropriate therapies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree
- Active State Special Education teaching license
- Six (6) months of student teaching experience
- Ability to clear required background check(s)
- Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week
- Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during workday
