Job Description
Strim is a unified data integration and streaming platform connecting clouds, data, and applications to deliver the right data at the right time. Striim is used by enterprise companies for monitoring events, building applications, and leveraging real-time analytics. The field engineer role is customer-focused, driving operational excellence, and supporting the entire Striim Platform life cycle, including implementation and support.
Requirements
- Based 100% remotely within in the Continental United States
- 3+ years of experience in customer-facing technical roles (Sales Engineer/Pre-sales Engineer, Solutions Architect, Data Engineer, Customer Success Engineer)
- 3+ years with database management systems software (Oracle, MySQL, SQL Server, SQL Programming Language)
- 3+ years with programming languages (Java, Python, Shell scripting)
- 3+ years experience with Cloud infrastructure and Data Services (Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud)
- Knowledge of Messaging Systems (Kafka, JMS)
- Knowledge of Enterprise data environments and Mission Critical IT systems (desirable)
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or Information Systems, or relevant work experience
