Engineering Manager, Payments API

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead the team at the forefront of delivering best-in-class Checkout services that power Elements with CheckoutSession and define and drive our payment integrations into the future.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in an engineering management role.
• 8+ years of full-time software development experience.
• Demonstrated track record of successfully hiring, developing, and mentoring engineers.
• Ability to lead by example in fast-paced, high-impact, and ambiguous environments.
• Commitment to high operational rigor when working with production systems.
• Experience building extensible software solutions that scale with business growth.
• Adept at thriving in a collaborative, cross-functional, and cross-timezone environment, while fostering a positive team culture.
