Full Stack Engineer, Web Presence and Platform

Stripe is seeking a Full Stack Engineer to design and build platforms & services that are configurable and scalable around the globe. The team, WPP, is responsible for creating industry-leading designs for Stripe's front door surfaces and building the internal machinery that powers these surfaces.

Requirements

• Strong technical background, including 3+ years of experience as a backend engineer
• Experience delivering, extending, and maintaining large scale distributed systems
• Empathetic, collaborative, and user-first mindset
• Interest in working as a generalist across varying technologies and stacks
• Ability to stitch together many different services together
• Preference for simple solutions and designs
• Ability to work well cross-functionally
• Experience mentoring and growing junior engineers
