Job Description
Stripe is seeking a PhD Data Scientist intern to contribute to impactful business initiatives. The role involves working with large datasets and analytical methodologies, helping Stripe understand its users, products, and operations. The internship is designed to grow both technical expertise and personal development. Interns will be mentored by senior data scientists and collaborate with teams across Stripe, directly impacting Stripe’s mission to increase global commerce.
Requirements
- Engaged in a quantitative PhD program (e.g. Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, etc.)
- Experience with a scientific computing language (e.g. Python, R, etc) and SQL.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience in machine learning, statistics, optimization, product analytics, causal inference, and/or experimentation.
- Experience communicating and collaborating with multidisciplinary stakeholders in a team environment.
