Job Description
Stripe is seeking PhD Machine Learning Engineers for a summer internship to contribute to their Applied ML, Data Science, Risk, and Payments organizations. Interns will work on projects focused on leveraging machine learning to revolutionize financial services and data interactions. The internship provides a chance to work on creative, impactful projects while working with cutting-edge technology.
Requirements
- A deep understanding of computer science and a PhD in related field.
- Practical experience with programming languages (Python, Scala, Spark) and ML libraries (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
- Expertise in machine learning techniques (supervised/unsupervised learning, ML operations, potentially Large Language Models or Reinforcement Learning).
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with feedback.
- Proactive learning and independent understanding of complex systems.
- Intent to return to degree-program after internship.
