Principal Scientist to Associate Director, Biology

StructureTx is seeking a highly motivated Principal Scientist / Associate Director (Biology) to support and advance internal drug discovery programs in metabolic diseases. The successful candidate will translate complex biology and pharmacology data into concise conclusions and actionable next steps to keep discovery milestones moving in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• PhD in Molecular Biology, Cell Biology, Biochemistry, Pharmacology, or related field
• ≥5 years post-PhD experience in pharma/biotech drug discovery
• Proven hands-on ability to develop and troubleshoot biology assays for discovery programs
• Experience in GPCR pharmacology and/or metabolic disease biology, including disease-relevant models and/or pathway biology
• Demonstrated ability to manage CROs/vendors and deliver high-quality results on schedule
• Excellent written and verbal communication, effective in cross-functional teams, and able to perform under pressure while maintaining scientific rigor
