Senior Software Engineer - Credit Risk Domain

Senior Software Engineer position in the Credit Risk Domain at STX Group in Amsterdam, Netherlands. Requirements

• 6-8+ years of experience building scalable, reliable software, ideally in fintech, trading platforms, or data-intensive systems.
• Prior experience working within credit risk or financial risk systems is strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in TypeScript with strong backend experience in Python or Node.js, and hands-on experience with AWS, serverless, and event-driven architectures.
• Practical experience with infrastructure-as-code tools (CDK/Terraform), Kubernetes, and cloud-native design patterns.
• Strong system design and engineering fundamentals, including clean architecture, testing, and production-grade software development.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills, able to bridge technical and business perspectives and give/receive constructive feedback.
• Curiosity and growth mindset, staying up-to-date with emerging technologies like LLM-powered automation, serverless systems, and data-centric design.
