Job Description
The Associate Director of Career Services assists in management of the Career Services Department, providing career advice to students and graduates, and generating job leads to meet placement goals.
Requirements
- One-on-one employment assistance to students and graduates
- Employment assistance to extern sites and employers
- Generator of employer database through cold calling, mailing, and site visits
- Weekly placements goals and 90-day employment verification
- Development of viable extern site opportunities for students
- Establishing and cultivating relationships with extern sites
- Tracking of weekly extern attendance (time cards)
- Communication with faculty regarding challenges during externships
- Resume writing, interview techniques, phone skills, and networking assistance
- Maintaining accurate student, graduate, and employment records and phone logs
