Public Health Nurse I - Maternal Health

The Department of Health is seeking a Public Health Nurse I within the Maternal Health group at the Great River location. The incumbent will perform public health nursing services, assess health needs, and provide nursing care as needed.

Requirements

• Graduation from a NYS or regionally accredited college or university with a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• Professional Registered Nurse’s License, issued by the NYS Education Department
• Valid license to operate a motor vehicle in NYS, or otherwise demonstrate capacity to meet transportation needs
• Meet federal and New York State employee health requirements
