Legal Assistant - Family Law Group

The Legal Assistant - Family Law Group role supports the day-to-day activities of lawyers within the family law practice group, responsible for document preparation, general practice administration, and various administrative functions.

Requirements

• Minimum 1-3 years experience in a Legal Assistant or related role, ideally within Family law
• Thorough and current knowledge of Family Law Rules of Civil Procedure including filing deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal software including PC Law and Divorcemate
• Excellent organization skills and ability to prioritize and risk-assess high volumes of work
• Ability to take initiative and demonstrate accountability, flexibility and adaptability
• Decisive and able to work with minimal supervision
