Job Description
Wire EDM Setup Operator is responsible for setting up and operating Wire EDM/Vollmer machines, developing and optimizing CNC programs, and conducting routine maintenance. Requires experience as a Wire EDM Operator/Programmer in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of machine shop practices, and excellent communication skills.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Wire EDM Operator/Programmer in a manufacturing environment (1+ years)
- Knowledge of machine shop practices, techniques, operations
- Ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to follow directions
- Basic math, logical reasoning, and problem solving skills
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
