Job Description
The Chief Nursing Officer will uphold the standards of nursing care, direct the nursing department, and collaborate with medical staff and administration to identify and implement solutions to quality issues. They will also develop and implement nursing policies and procedures, and guide the organization's infection control program.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
- Current Registered Nurse license in CO
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience
- At least 3 years of nursing experience in a behavioral healthcare setting
- Experience with child/adolescent patient population
- Preferred: at least 3 years' experience in managerial or nursing leadership role
- Knowledgeable of applicable Colorado Department of Health and Human Resources, CMS regulations and Joint Commission standards
