Job Description
Bus Assistant position available at Durham School Services. The Bus Assistant will assist the bus driver with the movement, management and care of students while they are being transported. Must have a high degree of attention to detail, ability to relate to and work well with children, and strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age; for New York School Bus Assistants, must be at least 19 years of age per state law.
- Must meet physical and medical requirements.
- Must satisfactorily complete and pass all training and attend safety meetings and in-service meetings in order to remain qualified.
