Job Description
SumUp is seeking a Senior Backend Engineer to help modernize their balance management system and create a global transaction history service. The role involves building core banking services, tackling complex systems, collaborating with teams, and delivering high-quality software. The team is focused on building a scalable banking platform for businesses.
Requirements
- Solid backend experience building reliable, high-volume services.
- Proficiency in Golang or Kotlin, and/or Elixir.
- Maintainable and well-tested code following CI/CD best practices.
- Comfort building, deploying, and running services in cloud environments like AWS.
- Knowledge of relational databases and data consistency.
