Job Description
The EH&S Engineer is a key technical role supporting environmental compliance and broader EHS programs at Sun Chemical’s Newport, DE site. This position’s primary focus is assisting in the administration and maintenance of environmental permits and regulatory compliance programs across all media (air, water, waste, and chemical reporting).
Requirements
- B.S. Degree in Engineering; degree in related sciences may be considered
- 7+ years of combined experience in environmental and health & safety
- Experience working in a manufacturing environment; chemical manufacturing preferred
- Experience with environmental permitting and compliance programing
- Strong technical and organizational skills
- Effective communication and cross-functional collaboration
