Job Description
The Ink Technician I Colormatch is responsible for providing color match and color proof support to customers, applying color theory and digital color principles using various lab equipment, SAP, Outlook, Excel, and color software/hardware to yield proficient color matching and proofing to meet customer requests.
Requirements
- Create and reproduce high-quality Color Match and proofs
- Perform standard color proofs to ensure compliance to customer and internal specifications
- Provide accurate formulae for local and feeder sites
- Accurate real time accounting of and reporting of color match data
- Maintain lab and equipment in the highest standards for a clean working environment
- Perform calibration of all lab equipment according to frequency schedule
- Data entry of project in appropriate file location
- Identify need for ordering equipment and supplies for the Color Match Lab
