Maintenance Technician - Part Time

Maintenance Technicians perform routine and preventative maintenance to maintain the physical integrity of Sun’s communities, providing excellent customer service and ensuring cleanliness and upkeep of property grounds, facilities, streets, equipment, and utility systems.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)
• 6 months in previous maintenance experience in the apartment or manufactured housing industry (Preferred)
• 6 months in snow removal experience, including operating a plow truck (if applicable) (Preferred)
• Ability to endure fluctuations in temperatures as working conditions require constant outdoor work
• Must have a valid driver's license
• Ability to work well independently as well as on a team
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
• Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
• Ability to work an on-call schedule
• Proficient skills in operating various hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery
• Ability to provide legible written reports
• General knowledge of plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance
