Job Description
Provides healthcare services to patients under the direction of a Medical Director. Performs medical exams, takes medical history, and makes diagnoses. Orders diagnostic tests and interprets results. Provides therapeutic procedures and instructs patients on care plans.
Requirements
- Completion of an approved nurse practitioner or physician assistant program
- Board Certification or Board eligible in Family Practice
- Current approval by the Joint Board of Medical Examiners and Board of Nursing to perform medical acts
- Must be currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in Arizona
- Master of Science in Health Sciences or related field required for NP/PA candidates
- Completion of a four-year undergraduate for Physician candidates
- 4 years Medical School earning a MD or DO degree for Physician candidates
- 1-year rotating Internship for Physician candidates
- 2 years residency for Physician candidates
