Senior Manager- EHS (API)

The Senior Manager- EHS role at Sun Pharma is responsible for developing, implementing, and managing comprehensive EHS strategies to ensure regulatory compliance, workplace safety, and environmental sustainability across the manufacturing site.

Requirements

• Develop and implement comprehensive EHS strategies
• Ensure regulatory compliance and workplace safety
• Manage environmental sustainability across the manufacturing site
• Prepare and communicate EHS Inspection Schedule
• Ensure compliance to EHS inspections and observations
• Enable and ensure safety surveillance team member's jobs are completed
• Maintain stock of work permit books and safety awareness materials
• Ensure HAZOP studies and availability of HAZOP reports
• Ensure EHS training and maintenance of EHS training center
• Ensure workplace monitoring and reporting of accidents/incidents
• Ensure IMS audit compliance and documentation
• Assist Location Head in upgrading Safety management system
• Manage overall Environment Management of the plant
• Implement Integrated Environment Management System and Corporate EHS Policy
• Work for statutory compliance pertaining to Environment
• Co-ordinate with modules for finalizing disposal of Wastes
• Filling all applications for statutory approvals
• Co-ordinate with Consultant & Statutory bodies for Ground water remediation study
• Impart training to ETP employees
• Give functional/technical inputs to API sites for Environment Management
• Monitoring of pollutants level of air, water, soil, stack emissions
