Health Educator

The Health Educator will deliver evidenced-based programming to youth in a variety of settings, including afterschool programs, onsite, and community-based organizations. The Health Educator will engage program participants in activities to provide career exploration and arrange for trips to local cultural events. Additionally, the Health Educator will provide parent education workshops to support positive health behaviors among youth.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in health education or health-related field
• Ability to facilitate discussion/teach classes to youth on reproductive health topics
• Experience working with youth and demonstrated ability to be inclusive and non-stigmatizing
• Knowledge of or experience with priority population to be served and community
• Bilingual skills, depending on the community and youth being served
