F&B Purchasing Agent- Banquets

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Purchasing Agent to manage the procurement of food products and supplies for our organization.

Requirements

• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships
• Source, purchase, and maintain a diverse range of food products
• Monitor product quality, freshness, expiration dates, and overall condition of goods received
• Manage inventory by analyzing usage, maintaining stock levels, and implementing inventory control practices
• Ensure compliance with food safety standards and applicable regulations
• Oversee shipment logistics, including scheduling deliveries, coordinating with drivers, and ensuring timely receipt of goods
• Process purchase orders, verify invoices, and maintain accurate records of all purchasing activities
• Stay informed of market trends, price fluctuations, and new product opportunities
• Collaborate with operations, production, and finance teams to align purchasing strategies with organizational goals
