Job Description
This Controls Design Engineer III position involves applying technical knowledge, materials selection, and sequence of operations for control systems projects. The role requires strong leadership, organizational skills, and communication abilities to work with project managers and provide technical support. This position supports both pre-sales activities and the development of junior engineers. The position involves research, analysis, and implementation of controls solutions.
Requirements
- Perform as a lead Design Engineer for control system projects.
- Research and select control system peripherals.
- Read construction drawings and project specifications.
- Manage project timelines and budgets.
- Provide technical training to field technicians.
- Work independently and autonomously.
- Valid California driver’s license.
- Strong understanding of MS Office, Windows, and File Structure.
- TCP/IP network structure and web navigation knowledge.
- Ability to work in a high-paced environment with prioritization skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
