The MEP Manager will lead the effort in coordinating and managing the MEP trades on major construction projects. This candidate will work with the project team to ensure successful completion of all MEP trade work.
Requirements
- 10+ years of experience in Construction/MEP Coordination
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Engineering preferred
- Experience managing project teams in a construction environment
- Experienced dealing with MEP subcontracts and subcontractors
- Extensive understanding of all mechanical, electrical, plumbing and low-voltage systems
- General understanding of Building Codes, Mechanical Codes, Electrical Codes, Plumbing Codes, and Green Building Codes as they relate to construction of project
- MEP Manager must have an in depth knowledge of LEED especially as it relates to the Fundamental and Enhanced commissioning credits
- Proficient use of all Microsoft Office Suite programs as well as Primavera P6
