Safety Coordinator

The Site Safety Coordinator will be responsible for identifying potential safety risks and working with the site project team to address corrective measures. The role will involve monitoring the workplace for compliance with OSHA and company regulations, providing safety updates to management, and delivering safety training to employees.

Requirements

• Familiarity with local, state, and federal codes as they apply to all aspects of solar construction and construction equipment and tools
• Demonstrated ability to evaluate environmental health and safety related risks
• Knowledge of power generation mechanical and electrical systems
• Ability to travel extended periods of time
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy
• Ability to maintain an established work schedule
• Ability to interact and communicate effectively at all levels and across diverse cultures
• Effective organization and planning skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to safely drive a company vehicle
• Demonstrated ability to use standard office software programs
