Job Description
Sunflower Bank, N.A. is looking for a Credit Underwriter III - Municipal/Public Finance to gather, analyze, and interpret financial and credit information to assess the creditworthiness of commercial customers. The position requires 7+ years of experience in credit analysis/credit underwriting and a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Economics, Finance, or similar field.
Requirements
- Gather, analyze, and interpret financial and credit information
- Review and analyze financial statements, tax returns and credit reports
- Prepare detailed financial and analytical reports
- Research pertinent industry and market information
- Communicate key analytical findings and opinions
- Monitor credit files
- Exercise independent judgement on client relationship credit analysis
- Participate in departmental or company-wide projects
- Provide technical advice and assistance
- Assist as a lead in the review of work, training, and development of more junior Credit Underwriters
- Attend joint calls with the Commercial Banker
- Remain educated and informed about industry trends, community developments, market conditions and regulatory requirements
