We're seeking a Regional Senior Credit Administrator to oversee the credit quality of the loan portfolio for the CRE business group and C&I transactions for a specific assigned region. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in analyzing large, complex commercial credits, excellent oral and written communication skills, and proficiency in financial analysis.
Requirements
- Screen potential new loan requests
- Communicate with customers, accountants, and attorneys
- Review formal loan requests and decide loans in accordance with Bank's policies
- Conduct Commercial Rolling Loan Review
- Recommend accurate risk ratings for all new and existing credits
- Conduct training with PM and lending personnel
- Participate in committees or workstreams as needed
- Act as a liaison with the OCC and/or loan review for the credits within the portfolio of assigned region
- Maintain working knowledge of legal requirements for properly documenting complex loans
- Monitor, evaluate, and coach PM in portfolio management duties
- Ensure the PM understands the lines of business they support and meets agreed upon goals and deadlines
- Confirm PM workflow is completed via monitoring of PM pipeline and holding PM Team meetings
- Responsible to ensure all regions/lines of business concerns are addressed
- Responsible for adherence and consistency to Bank's credit policy/underwriting standards
- Advocate for a collaborative/communicative/team-oriented credit administration culture
- Ensure PM participates in the rolling loan review meetings, as required
- Ensure that asset quality of the assigned loan portfolios is maintained to Bank's standards and adhere to speed to market expectations
- Ensure annual training for all PM to stay abreast with underwriting standards, etc.
