Job Description
We are looking for an AI Energy Systems Engineer to join our R&D Smart Energy Systems team. The role combines artificial intelligence, energy management, and applied engineering to develop and implement AI-driven solutions for optimizing energy storage, distribution, and grid interaction.
Requirements
- Bachelor's, Masterās, or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Machine Learning, or related fields
- A minimum of 4-years of industry or academic experience working on AI/ML for energy systems
- Very good understanding of developing and deploying learning models, particularly for time-series or control-oriented tasks
- Solid grasp of electrical power systems, battery dynamics, and grid interaction principles
- Excellent software engineering skills with version control and modular design principles
- Familiarity with online learning, real-time inference, or edge-deployed AI models
- Experience with digital twins, physics-informed neural networks (PINNs), or hybrid AI/control system models
- Excellent written and verbal knowledge of English
