The Assistant Category Manager will oversee and drive the success of multiple product categories within our organization, developing and implementing category-specific strategies to achieve sales targets, optimize assortment, improve market share and maximize profitability.
Requirements
- Develop and implement category strategies to drive sales growth and achieve financial targets.
- Conduct market research and consumer analysis to identify emerging trends and anticipate market changes.
- Manage the assortment and product selection within the assigned category, ensuring it aligns with market trends, consumer preferences, and company goals.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors together with supply chain division, to negotiate favorable terms, manage their performance, secure competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery.
- Develop and execute effective merchandising plans, including product positioning, visual displays, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, and supply chain division to align category objectives with overall company goals.
