Job Description
This position is responsible for the development and enhancement of the plant’s Environmental and Health and Safety Program, including implementing initiatives, performing inspections, and investigating incidents. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in an accredited Occupational Health and Safety certification program, JHSC Level 2 certification, and 5+ years of experience in environmental health and safety.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in an accredited Occupational Health and Safety certification program or similar
- JHSC Level 2 certification
- 5+ years of experience in the administration of policies and legislative compliance in similar role
- Experience in similar role, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with Environmental Health and Safety systems is considered an asset
