Job Description
The Medical Director of Quality will be responsible for participating in QAPI Programs, ensuring compliance with clinical quality improvement and management programs, and collaborating with the IT Department to develop meaningful systems to monitor and manage clinical outcomes.
Requirements
- Participate in QAPI Programs
- Ensure compliance with clinical quality improvement and management programs
- Collaborate with the IT Department to develop meaningful systems
- Provide coaching and counseling in clinical quality of care to providers
- Analyze and document current and future workflows
- Work with health plans to identify gaps in care and work collaboratively to break down barriers to improve care
- Partner with the Director of Quality on quality management processes
- Serve as clinical quality consultant to training department
- Participate in utilization review and management
