The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience in public relations, public affairs, consumer communications, or book publicity, and can navigate the unique media ecosystem of the capital.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of experience in public relations, public affairs, consumer communications, or book publicity
• Sharp instincts for navigating the unique media ecosystem of the capital
• Ability to coordinate a book tour with social-first content and creator partnerships
• Excellent writing and pitching skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize trust, discretion, and professionalism with clients and journalists
• High EQ and great judgment
• Ability to read a room and handle the specific needs of high-profile authors or founders with ease
