Job Description
SunSource is seeking a MEC Technician to assemble and test hydraulic systems, verify parts, inspect components, and maintain a safe and orderly work area. The successful candidate will have a 2-year fluid power associate degree, 1-5 years of experience in fluid power assembly or shop experience, and be detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Verify parts to BOM and work order to prepare for assembly.
- Inspect parts and various components.
- Assemble units according to MEC specifications.
- Test all assembled systems for standard expectations of quality, quantity, and time.
- Painting of completed units in the paint booth.
- Clean, organize, and maintain the Shop and Shop equipment.
- Participate in continuous improvement through training and associate development.
- Assist MEC Technicians with assembly, testing, process training and mentoring.
- Maintain safe and orderly work area.
