Assistant Teacher

The Children’s Center Assistant Teacher/Floater is responsible for assisting the Director and Head Teacher in the general supervision and management of the children, creating a safe and welcoming learning environment, and communicating with parents and staff.

Requirements

• High School Diploma and one to two years of experience working with children in an established child care center
• Training in early childhood education
• Ability to lift 50 pounds from the floor to waist high table multiple times a day
• High degree of concentration, patience, and ability to deal with pressure and distractions
