Sr. Hardware Design Engineer

Supermicro is seeking a Sr. Hardware Design Engineer to join their design team. The candidate will play a key role in the development process of in-house server motherboards, working collaboratively with cross-functional engineering teams and outside partners to ensure robust design. The candidate must be self-motivated and possess a strong will to do great things, with a result-driven mindset to develop competitive and endurance board products.

Requirements

• BSEE/MSEE with 5+ years of hardware design hands-on experience in X86 Server/Workstation/Storage motherboard design
• Knowledge of high-speed circuit design and voltage regular circuit design
• In-depth knowledge of PCB layout, OrCAD/Allegro tools, circuit design, and PCB structure
• Proficiency in design tools OrCAD/Allegro or Concept HDL
• Familiar with digital scope and high-speed bus measurement
• Ability to work independently and efficiently to achieve design goals to the best quality and fast time-to-market
• Excellent organizational skills, problem-solving capability, and ability to adapt and learn new concepts and technologies
• Self-motivated and enthusiastic about working in a fast-paced environment
