Job Description
Supermicro is seeking a fulltime Staff Firmware Engineer to contribute to the development of embedded products. The role involves problem-solving, bug fixing, task definition, and ensuring the delivery of core features of OpenBMC related software and firmware for GPU/Storage Server Systems. The ideal candidate will lead a team and work closely with other teams.
Requirements
- Develop OpenBMC related features (Redfish, IPMI, SNMP, etc.)
- Bring-up/porting OpenBMC HW interfaces for new GPUs/Storage Servers
- Develop OpenBMC customize features (Redfish/IPMI/SNMP, etc.)
- Design, debug, port, define, develop, test and maintain core features of OBMC related software and firmware
- Work closely with software and hardware teams to integrate embedded code
- Knowledge in management interfaces (Redfish, IPMI, SNMP, SSH, WebUI)
