Job Description
Carry out design review of C&S and geotechnical design and analysis for coastal structures such as quay wall, port, jetty, revetment, and land reclamation, manage subcontracts and main contracts, and ensure engineering works comply with relevant statutory standards.
Requirements
- Minimum a Bachelor/master’s degree in civil/Structural Engineering recognized by PEB
- Minimum 10 years of relevant design/project management experience in a consultancy firm involving infrastructure and/or marine infrastructure/coastal infrastructure projects
- Experience of working on marine infrastructure projects in SEA countries
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
- Team player and able to multi-task
- Disciplined, self-motivated and resourceful
- Experience in contract administration
- Familiar with Eurocodes
- Well versed in design software, e.g. STAAD Pro, Plaxis, GeoStudio, Prokon, Etabs etc
- Familiar with the structural design of marine infrastructure such as jetties, quay walls, breakwater, revetment
