Senior Mechanical Enigneer

Atelier Ten is a team of building services engineers and environmental designers that helps create sustainable spaces. We are looking for a proactive and self-motivated Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our Manchester office.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or actively working towards chartership.
• 5–7 years of experience in mechanical design engineering within building services or similar sectors.
• Experience with Stage 3 & 4 design or equivalent detailed design phases.
• Solid understanding of UK building regulations and industry standards.
• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical building services systems.
• Proven experience in MEP or multidisciplinary coordination, including clash detection and BIM processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and manage external stakeholder meetings.
• Skilled in managing multiple projects and meeting tight deadlines with flexibility and professionalism.
• Proficient in design software such as Revit MEP and AutoCAD, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
• Experienced in using NBS for specification writing and updates.
